What an AI golf coach should do, and what Morris does
Morris is a golf coach you can text: your swing from a video, the Rules out on the course, which club to hit from your real distances. Here is how he works, where he lives and where he stops.

How a coach works, and how Morris copies that
- 1
He looks before he speaks
A swing is measured on the video, frame by frame. A Rule is looked up in the official Rules of Golf before its number is quoted. A distance comes from your own clubs when they are connected. Nothing from memory.
- 2
One priority
Not a list of faults: the cause behind what the ball does, told as a chain from the moment to the body to the club to the ball. The rest waits.
- 3
A feel and a drill with reps
A feel of five to twelve words you can check on your own, a drill with its progression and a self-check. And a question at the end, never a menu.
Where Morris lives
On the web, the swing analyzer. No account, no app: drop one video and get the pictures of your key positions with your measured body, what is working, one fix, the feel and the drill. It is the same analysis engine Morris uses in the chat. Start on the analyzer page.
On WhatsApp, the rest. Enter your mobile on morris.golf and text him. He asks your name and your home course when it matters, remembers your goal and your last priority, reads your next video from the phone, and answers Rules questions with the Rule number. Players in Spain can connect their federation licence for the official handicap; Garmin and TrackMan data come through the Badgie Golf app.
Where he stops
He does not give advice during a competition round beyond the Rules (the Rules penalise it, and he reminds you). He does not give medical advice. He does not quote angles at you or compare you to a professional. He does not pretend to know a result, a ranking or a price he has not read, and he says where a figure came from.
If you want to see the method on one fault, read how Morris fixes a slice, or the drills he gives with reps.
Try the coach on your own swing

AI coach questions
What is an AI golf coach?
Software that reads what you give it (a swing video, a question about a Rule, your rounds) and answers the way a coach would. The useful ones do what a coach does: look before they speak, give one priority instead of a list, and tell you how to practise it with repetitions.
Can an AI golf coach analyze my swing from a phone video?
Yes. Morris measures your body on each frame of one video, places your key positions on what you actually did and names one cause behind your ball flight. You get the pictures, a feel and a drill with reps. Try it on this page, free.
Is a golf coach app the same as an AI golf coach?
A golf coach app is where it lives; the coach is what it does. Morris lives on the web for the swing analyzer and on WhatsApp for everything else, so there is nothing to install. The same Morris answers in both.
Does Morris replace my golf coach?
No. He is the coach between lessons: the one that reads your video on a Tuesday, looks up the Rule on the 7th tee and remembers your priority. A coach who sees you swing in person sees things a video does not, and Morris says so when the camera did not show enough.
Does the AI golf coach make up numbers?
Morris does not quote a figure about your game that he has not read in that very turn, and in a swing verdict he quotes no angles at all. The measurements are his evidence; the message is in player words. When he does not know, he says so.
