Swing coach apps: what each one does and what it costs
People who type «swing coach app» want one of two things: the app called Swing Coach, or any app that coaches their golf swing from a phone. This page answers both. Morris is one of the options, so everything said about the others comes from their own listings, with no ranking.

Four apps, nearly the same name
The name causes mix-ups, so check the maker before you download. Swing Coach - Golf is by Swing Intelligence, Inc. SwingCoach AI is by Robin Johansen. MySwingCoach - Golf Swing Fix is by Prescient Apps. Swing Coach - Golf Pro is by Rick-y Media AB, and its listing pairs the analysis with shareable roast videos of your swing. They are separate products, and none of them is related to Morris.
What the Swing Coach app does
It is a practice tool. By its listing, you choose what to work on (swing plane, hand path, hip depth, spine stability, flying elbow, shoulder plane) and it gives you voice feedback right after each swing, tracking your club head and your body with just your phone. There are no sensors to buy, and it also compares you with the best swings in the world.
Two things to check first: it requires iOS 26 or later, so an older iPhone may not run it, and the listing shows the two subscription prices without saying what works for free.

Swing Coach is built for it: set the phone up, swing, hear the feedback, swing again. Morris does not do this. He reads one video at a time and takes about three minutes.

What is the Swing Coach app?
Swing Coach - Golf is an iPhone and iPad app by Swing Intelligence, Inc. You tell it what you want to work on and it gives you voice feedback right after each swing, using only your phone. Its listing says no special equipment is needed, and that it works indoors or outside, with or without a ball.
How much does the Swing Coach app cost?
The US App Store lists $14.99 a month and $119.99 a year (4 November 2026). The download is free, but the listing does not say what works without paying, so check inside the app before you count on it.
Is there a free golf swing coach app?
Morris's web analyzer is free with no account and no download, a few videos a day. Sportsbox AI has a free plan of 5 swings a month. SwingCoach AI lists free analyses every month without saying how many.
Does Swing Coach work on Android?
Its App Store listing covers iPhone and iPad, and we did not find it on Google Play when we searched on 4 November 2026. On Android, GolfFix and V1 Golf are on Google Play, and Morris works in the phone's browser and on WhatsApp.
Is a swing coach app as good as a real swing coach?
It does a different job. An app sees what one camera shows. A coach sees you hit, knows your history and adapts. A sensible split: the app between lessons, to find what to work on and keep practising it, and the coach to confirm it and guide it.
