Pick by what you want

  1. 1

You want an automatic read of your swing

GolfFix, Sportsbox AI and Morris take a phone video and tell you what they see. Sportsbox turns it into a 3D model; Morris measures your body on each frame and gives one priority; GolfFix reports trajectory, posture and tempo.

  2. 2

You want to review it yourself

V1 Golf and OnForm are built for video: slow motion, lines, side by side with a model swing. They give you the tools, not the diagnosis, which is why coaches use them.

  3. 3

You want a person to look at it

Skillest connects you with a coach who answers your video with analysis and drills; the price is the coach's. If you already have a coach, ask whether they use V1 or OnForm.

  4. 4

You want it tied to your game

A swing fix matters most where it costs you strokes. 18Birdies bundles scoring with an AI analyzer; Morris on WhatsApp with Badgie Golf reads your rounds, handicap and Garmin shots, then your swing, and gives you the next thing to work on.

What this page does not do

It does not rank, it does not test accuracy, it does not say which tool is better. Each row is what the company says about itself, with the price on its own page and the date we read it. If a line is wrong because a page changed, tell Morris on WhatsApp and it gets corrected. More: the best golf apps, by the job, AI golf coach or human pro, and how to fix a slice.

Swing analysis questions

What is the best app to analyse my golf swing?

There is no best, there is a job. To get an AI read of a phone video: GolfFix, Sportsbox AI (3D) or Morris. To review your own video in slow motion with drawing tools: V1 Golf or OnForm. To have a real coach look at it: Skillest, or the coach you already have on V1 or OnForm. Prices and features here are from each tool's own site, read on 25 October 2026.

Can I analyse my golf swing online for free?

Yes, with limits. Morris's web analyzer is free without an account (a few videos a day). Sportsbox AI has a free plan of 5 swings a month. V1 Golf has a basic free app and OnForm a 14-day trial. A human coach on Skillest is paid, priced by each coach.

Is an AI swing analyzer as good as a coach?

They do different things. An AI reads positions and tells you what it sees in seconds, any time. A coach sees you hit, knows your history and adapts. Many players use the AI to find the one thing to work on and a coach to confirm and guide it. A video alone cannot measure clubhead path or face angle at impact; only a launch monitor does.

How should I film my swing?

Two videos: from behind, in line with your hands, and from the front, facing your chest and square to the target line. Phone on a tripod at hip to chest height, the whole body and club in frame, one swing per clip.

What does Morris do that the others do not?

It is free without an account on the web, answers in your language, and the answer is deliberately short: one cause, one feel and one drill with reps. Then, on WhatsApp with Badgie Golf, Morris also reads your rounds, handicap and Garmin shots, so the swing work follows what is costing you strokes.
