Why
The best course management starts on the couch. Planning your round before you reach the first tee gives you 'mental freedom': the more decisions you've already made, the less you doubt over the ball — and doubt ruins the shot. With satellite imagery (Google Earth or Maps) you have your plan in 10-15 minutes; no need to write a novel or a full yardage book.
