Nobody plays a clean round

Golf is, above all, a game of mistakes. Not even the best player in the world masters all three areas —off the tee, approach and short game— on the same day. In fact, when someone posts a great round, it's almost always because two parts clicked and the third let them down. Accepting this lifts a huge weight off you: you don't have to strike every shot well to have a good day.
