Instinct, for a golfer
The idea behind Instinct is simple and good: an assistant you text like a friend, that gets things done. Golf wants exactly that, with one difference: the friend has to know your game. Here is what Instinct is, from the coverage, and what the golf version of it looks like today.

Two agents you text
| Instinct (as described in the press, 9 October 2026) | Morris (by Badgie Golf) | |
|---|---|---|
| What it is for | Everyday tasks: email, calendar, bookings, shopping, by text or call | Golf: your swing, your rounds, your handicap, the Rules, the course |
| How you reach it | Text or phone call; invite only | WhatsApp; sign up with a mobile number; the web analyzer needs nothing |
| Price | Free during the beta; no published model | Free to start, with monthly limits; a Pro plan raises them |
| Knows your golf | Only what you type | Rounds, official handicap, Garmin distances, strokes gained, swing videos |
| Looks things up | The web, for tasks | The official Rules text; the course's own website for green fees, with source and date |
| What it will not do | Not stated for golf | Book or charge; quote a number about your game it has not read; give angles in a swing verdict |
Nothing here says Instinct is worse at what it does; it is for a different job, and the comparison is only about the data a golf question needs.
What texting a golf agent looks like
You send a video from the range: four pictures back with your body measured on them, one cause, one feel, one drill with reps. You ask what club from 150 into wind: a club from your own distances, with the reason. You ask whether the drop was free: the rule number from the official text. You ask what a round costs at a course you saw: the price from its site, the conditions, the date, the link. The free analyzer is the first of those without any account; the rest is on WhatsApp. Why the specialist wins the golf questions: AI personal trainer vs AI golf coach.

Instinct questions
What is Instinct?
An invite-only personal AI assistant from Spear Street Technology that you text or call to get everyday tasks done: email, calendars, bookings, shopping, as the press has described it in 2026. It is free during its beta, with no published business model at the time we read about it (9 October 2026). Its own site is a sign-in page.
Can Instinct coach golf?
Nothing in the coverage describes golf features: it is a general assistant for tasks. You could ask it to book a tee time or explain a rule, as you could ask any assistant; it would not have your rounds, your handicap or your swing on video unless you typed them in.
What is the golf version of 'text an agent'?
Morris: a golf agent on WhatsApp by Badgie Golf. You send a swing video and get one cause, one feel and one drill; you ask what club and he answers from your Garmin distances; you ask a Rules question and he looks the official text up; you ask about a course and he reads its site for the green fee with source and date. He starts free and does not need an invite.
Is morris.golf connected to Instinct?
No. Morris is a product of Badgie, a Spanish company; this page describes Instinct only from published coverage, to help a golfer see what each kind of agent is for.
